My client is looking to hire their first ever Finance Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a team both in the US and abroad. You will have a hand in the strategic direction of the company by implementing policies and procedures, budgeting and planning for the future, and ensuring the proper controls.

The position will be hybrid 3 days a week in office at our HQ in Cambridge, MA.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage finance operations, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end tasks
- Oversee financial reporting and consolidation procedures, including board presentations
- Collaborate with auditors
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies
- Handle legal, tax, and VAT matters, ensuring compliance with local laws and transfer pricing regulations
- Handle all statutory reporting including different accreditation organizations
- Oversee intercompany transactions and manage cash and treasury activities
Here are the baseline level requirements for consideration for this role:
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
Here are the nice to haves (the more you have the better, but don’t let these prevent you from applying)
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Chartered Accountant (CPA will also be considered)
- Strong Team Management Experience
- International experience a big plus
- Prior project management experience desirable.
