We are looking for a highly skilled, strategic, and creative professional to join our passionate client’s team as the Director of Strategic Partnerships &  Business Operations. This is your chance to be part of a transformative journey, working closely with our client’s CEO and Head of Development to forge impactful industry partnerships with and drive our mission forward for the good of patients everywhere. 

You’ll Be Responsible For:  

As the Director of Strategic Partnerships &  Business Operations, you will be at the heart of our client’s efforts to advance groundbreaking treatments for food allergies. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll play a crucial role in establishing strategic partnerships with industry leaders, foundations, and other organizations. You will also provide support to our operations team in other business operations functions such as, human resources, and financial planning through collaborations with our vendors and consultants.

What You’ll Do:
•    Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with the CEO and Development Director to build and manage new alliances with industry and non-profit organizations. Develop and execute engagement plans that drive our mission.
•    Communication Strategies: Work with the Development Director to craft compelling communication strategies for social media and public-facing materials.
•    Grants preparations and management: Work with our Grants Manager and Scientific teams leading the preparation, submission and management of new grants from federal agencies, companies and other organizations. Work with the Grants Manager to oversee contract agreements and ensure accurate reporting of research grants.
•    Financial Management: Support Operations Manager and third-party accounting firm with annual finance planning and budgeting processes.
•    Audit Coordination: Support Operations Manager with annual audit process with our external auditor, ensuring timely completion of audited financial statements and compliance with state filings.
•    Human Resources: Support Operations Manager in overseeing payroll, employee benefits, and the maintenance of our Accounting Policies and Procedures, Employee Handbook, and Conflict-of-Interest documentation.
•    Insurance Management: Support Operations Manager in overseeing all insurance policies, ensuring they cover our expanding needs.
•    Advisory Role: Provide guidance on personnel policies and procedures and support annual performance reviews.
•    Additional Duties: Take on extra responsibilities as needed to support the team and mission.

•     Your background spans business operations, finance, administration, and human resources, making you a versatile and valuable team member.

•    Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail ensure that you convey information clearly and accurately.

Qualifications:
•    Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
•    Experience: Minimum 10+ years in nonprofit operations, biotech, and partnership success. 
•    Expertise in partnership development, financial oversight, grant and management.
•    A passion to help our client advance transformative treatments for patients with food allergies.
