The Job
This role will lead the SEC Reporting team and primarily be responsible for putting together the 10-K and 10-Q. You will be responsible for solving technical accounting problems, and be the primary point of contact for external auditors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical accounting research
- Assist in the financial reporting process, including the preparation and review of disclosures included in SEC filings
- Review the financial statements including but not limited to cash flow statement, earnings release, investor presentations
- Collaborate with senior leaders such as legal, investor relations, and other departments
- Evaluate the impact of new GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Manage stock based compensation
- Develop internal control framework and SOX compliance efforts
- Develop and assist with the preparation of financial materials used in presentations to the Board of Directors, Audit Committee and Executive Management.
- Identify opportunities to improve and standardize processes/controls
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar
- 8+ years of technical accounting and SEC reporting experience
- Active CPA license required
- Substantial knowledge and experience in U.S. GAAP, AICPA and SEC financial reporting standards.
- Prior hands-on experience with the implementation and monitoring of global SOX compliance.
