Meet Our President and Founder

David Hayes is the President and Founder of HireMinds, a professional and executive search firm specializing in the areas of digital marketing, technology, and science. In his role, David is responsible for the strategic leadership necessary to ensure the achievement of HireMinds performance goals and preservation of the core values established over a decade ago including fostering true partnerships with hiring clients and job candidates.

David is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor of Philosophy and entered the search profession with Source Services after beginning his career in marketing with IBM. In his first year, he was named Rookie of the Year and went on to be one of the top producing search consultants in the firm. He took on increasing responsibility, culminating in his role as Managing Director of the New York region until the firm was acquired by Kforce.

A recognized leader on employment, leadership, and workplace related issues, David is regularly quoted in the Boston Globe, Boston Business Journal, The Wall Street Journal, Boston.com, and Mass High Tech. David is personally passionate about helping others achieve their goals, whether client, job candidate, or employee. He serves on the Board of Directors for MITX and is an active member of BIMA and MassBio. He is also a committed volunteer to the Cambridge based East End House community center.
